NaN on weight over 999 in category editor

Reported by Ben Andersen | April 17th, 2013 @ 01:12 PM

When setting a weight on a variant in category editor it's set to NaN after saving if it's over 999.

Steps to Repeat
  1. Edit a category
  2. Enable variations
  3. Enter 1000 in the weight field of a variant
  4. Save the category
Now the weight is not 1000 but NaN.

This works in the product editor but not in the category editor. It's been tested with different number formats set and it doesn't matter which denomination is used.

A workaround is to set a higher denomination and use decimals if needed. For instance use kg instead of g and use 1.5 kg instead of 1500g.
